Act 1: LARRY SMITH

Larry Smith is a Musician, Citizen of the World, (and Historian) who realized he had a story to tell with his art when he heard Hey Joe on pirate radio.

He has been gallivanting all over France with 10 shows in the last 12 months, gracing us with his presence and wicked classic rock stylings on the 23rd of August.

Influences? “…a lot of classical, a lot of old blues players, that explosion of psychedelia in the late 60s, classic rock in the 70s, stadium rock in the 80s plus a lot more from punk to jazz”

Best enjoyed with an ice cold beverage and a desire to groove. Rocking out is allowed.

Act 2 : LILA MARCH (Full Band)

We love her voice and presence so much we've often referred to her as the crazy love child of Bjork and Joan Baez, with a smidge of Tori Amos mystique...but LILA MARCH is a creative force all of her own.  With her full band expect a huge sound of melancholia, angst, beauty and hope rolled into one emotive set.

When did you realize you had a story to tell with your art? I've always felt it inside of me, since i was a kid, but it really materialized during pandemic 'cause i had more time to develop my art and i got to know myself way better when it comes to my artistic voice and personality

Name some of your inspirations...Who are they and how did you come across them? Jeff Buckley, Lhasa de Sela, Tamino, Pol Batlle, i love all of them, to sum up, more introspective, poetic and dark music really gets me going, it conects with  a deeper part of myself and makes me be at peace with all my feelings

Do you have a ritual for before or after creating? I usually feel like i have something to spit up, like a little voice inside telling me "grab a guitar" or "sit on the piano, something will come up", and most of the times it does. Some other times i just sit and start randomly trying melodies until one fits and i try to follow it, it's a very intuitive way of creating but i personally love it, i perceive it as a fine thread i have to keep pulling to know the path of the song

How much of what you create is based on real life? Everything is based in my personal life, or i would say, it is based more in the quintessences of my own experiences, like a moral of a fable that i extract from the things i learn as i keep living

Don’t miss this special intimate event featiring two wildly different acts.
